Hey folks--in keeping up with the new schedule I'd like to introduce you to one of my favorite illustrators and mentors, Milt Klingensmith. He illustrates for the Grand Rapids Press and occasionally teaches at my alma mater Kendall College of Art and Design. I was fortunate enough to have an illustration class with him, as well as job shadow him at the Press. His work made more of an influence on me than any other artist, and it's a privilege to know him personally. He has an uncanny knack for spot-on caricature likenesses while retaining his unique style of mark making, and always has an amazing concept for his illustrations. Check out a portfolio of his!
