In the last two months, I worked on an eleven page comic for Scholastic. It was about the assassination of president Garfield. The book is for a reading intervention program intended for high school students. This comic is part of a larger book titled Assassinations: Our Murdered Presidents and each chapter will have a unique style unto itself.

Here are the inked pages. Everything was inked digitally using a simple hard brush. As you can see below, the final pages had various panel changes.

Hey Tin, I knew it was you when they sent me one of the pages for reference! Great job on this.
Did they want you to use comic sans?

hey Raul, yea they made me use comic sans but I kept the CCastroCity for my personal portfolio because I liked it better. What presidents are you working on?

Oh I tried so hard to try and meke them change the fonts but they made up their minds long ago.
I am working on Icarus and Daedalus.
Its a lot of fun but I wish they had let me go as dark as with yours...
It rocks!
