So, I decided to go ahead and sketch out Lum and chibi-Ataru from Rumiko Takahashi's Urusei Yatsura. I never got around to watching the actual anime, but it was the first manga I ever got hooked on and actually collected/finished reading to the end. :]

Rumikos way of making Manga is something I miss in younger artists nowadays. It has a warmth to it that comes thru in all her books. I love her storytelling and the way it incorporates the art.
Ditto! All the characters manage to still have this charm to them, no matter what their intention may be. Worth being studied by all those aiming to get into comics, i say!
Yeah absolutely. And they don't loose their personality or depth by being charming. It just adds to their liveliness.
