illustrations for Little Red Dot (A singapore newspaper for kids)


The last few illustrations have been fun. In these few rounds I attempted to shift the style of illustration from the previous style they had been using. The new style uses brush and ink strokes and coloured/textured in photoshop. (the old uses more vector) The fun part, like the previous rounds, was to dramatise the story with views that can only be achieved through illustrations. The stories are not current stories but a retelling of events that actually happened in history. This newspaper can be picked up at primary schools in singapore.

Too sweet! How you used the color placing contra the black lines is way good.
